Camps

Camps allow us to spend intentional time with just the guys.  This would include middles schoolers to college aged men.  We discuss what it means to become the man God designed and desires them to be.  From our experience, if it is feasible, it is best to separate the guys into appropriate age groups (middle school, high school, college).

Weekend Retreats

This is a concentrated weekend event that allows us to share and get to know the guys - students, college, or men.  Not only do we help them to understand and become the man God designed and desires them to be, but the smaller group allows us the chance to hang out with them and really get to know them.

Weekend Retreats are Get-Away Weekends without the focus around a specific hobby or activity.

Dinners

Looking for a way to talk to guys about how to become godly men?  How about offering something to eat?  If you know anything about guys, it's that they love to eat.  This is a relaxed atmosphere that any man can invite another man to come and hear an overview of the process, any one particular part of the process, or Mike's personal journey.

From the Pulpit

Want to encourage men and their wives?  A worship service could be just the ticket.  Mike speaks on a wide range of topics or you just may want to encourage your marriages with Mike's story.

Get-Away Weekends

Much like the Southwest Airlines commercial, sometimes we just want to get away.  That is exactly what these weekends were designed for.  Our goal, as a ministry, is to create, or help you create, weekends where guys get away from it all and work on three things: Play, Passion, & Partners. 

Play

To do this we organize a weekend around a particular activity or group of activities like golf, camping, rafting, skiing, fly fishing, or motorcycle road trips.  This is where the play comes in.  We want to intentionally plan time for guys to get out and have some fun doing stuff together.  Hanging out and participating in an activity that not only challenges them as a man, but they enjoy doing.

Partners

It's through these activities that relationships are built and they develop partners to help them become a man of God.  It's just how guys are.  We get to know one another while we do stuff with each other.  Hopefully, at the end of our time together relationships have either been started or strengthened so when the men head back into the world they know they have some fellow warriors to partner with.

Passion

Next we integrate the lessons from the ManHeart process into the weekend.  The lesson are interactive and designed to be participatory.  This is not  "sit still while I instill" weekend.  It's during this weekend of play and partnerships that passion begins -  passion for God, for the woman God placed in their lives, and for the hearts of a small group of men.

These Get-Away weekends are intentionally designed to be small - 10-12 guys max.  This allows for better interaction and discussion.
